Barton Hall

Barton Hall, named after Former RPI Trustee & Acting President Cornelius J. Barton is a freshman dormitory located on Freshman Hill, at the corner of Sage Ave. and Burdett Ave. All dorms in Barton are triples.

Barton is considered one of the more modern dorms, featuring an elevator, air conditioning, and a large laundry room. It also has a large amount of study rooms, which students usually get work done in. There is also a lounge area on each floor, with the 2nd and 4th floors having television.

There are four floors to Barton, however, the main entrance is located on the 3rd floor. There is a 1st floor door on Sage. Ave, but it is only used for move-in day.
